Keepithard fine

 

The owner of the website, www.keepithard.co.uk, 27year old Saranjit Bhambra, was fined £10,000 yesterday at Southwark Crown Court after pleading guilty to selling unlicensd erectile dysfuntion medicines.  The MHRA launched an investigation after making a test purchase from the website and finding the contents contained tadalafil and sildenafil.  These unlicensed medicines were being sold from a garage which added to the risk of contamination due to the insanitary nature of the surroundings.  People buying from websites like these risk serious illness and possibly even death as there is no qualified medical control or pharmacy professional oversight.  The music hall nature of the site name should warn most people that it is suspect but low prices tend to convince them to give it a try.  Many regret it too late as the crooks have fled with their ill gotten gains.  Well done MHRA.
